OCD in the therapy Room.png

Friday 10th July 2026 at 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Uk time).

Join two qualified and experience OCD therapists for this in-depth CPD on understanding OCD and working ethically with Obsessive Compulsive Clients as a non-specialist therapist or counsellor.

OCD is often mis-diagnosed, mis-treated and misunderstood among mental health professionals, psychotherapists & counsellors - meaning that clients don't always receive the care & treatment they need.

(Canavan, 2022)

In this CPD training you will discover:

In-depth Look at OCD's many presentations.

How to recognise and assess for OCD when it shows up in your practice. We'll look at common OCD presentations (beyond contamination presentations), how to identify OCD within your clients and the difference between Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) & OCD.

Ethical Practice & adapting for OCD clients.

Understand what keeps OCD going and how to adapt your therapeutic practice to appropriately and ethically support Obsessive Compulsive Clients (without accidently strengthening OCD).

Resources, Support & Further training.

Professional resources for you and for your clients + evidence based further training options.

Live Access, Replay, Q&A + Resources

£85

*Ticket sales end Friday 10th July at 9:00 AM. 1 ticket = one attendee. 1 ticket must be purchased for each attendee. You will also receive a recorded replay of the training + Q&A and access to all slides and resources shared.

This training is for you if:

-You're a counsellor or psychotherapist who cares about client wellbeing and working ethically.
